About Millie Bourne

The notebook I wanted for my own shifts.

What it does

Millie Bourne, your driving gig assistant, is a shift notebook for anyone paid per run. You tap once when you set off, then log the lines as they happen: every payout, fuel stop, expense and job, each job carrying its own start and end odometer plus labels like airport, surge or late night. When something stops you working, you log a showstopper, so a day the app was down counts as a day you could not work rather than a day you did not try. At the end of the shift it adds the lines up and shows the number that matters: what you kept, per hour and per mile, with a breakdown of the service that paid it.

Who it is for

It is built for gig drivers: delivery, rideshare, courier, and anyone whose week arrives as a pile of small payments. Drivers who want to know whether a Friday night was worth the fuel. It is not an accountant's ledger. There is no jargon to learn, no categories to set up and no spreadsheets to keep, and every line is a tap or two from the driver's seat. If you would rather keep paper, the printable log sheet is free too, and your data exports to a spreadsheet file whenever you want it.

Who makes it

Millie Bourne is made by a long-time app designer who drives delivery gigs as well, and is a production of tara.city LLC. It is the app she wanted for herself, which is why it is free to use and pay what you want: our margins are thin. Millie's Lounge is the other half of it, a place where drivers pick a nickname, compare the miles they put on the clock and send their thoughts into the next version.
